Alpine Stillness
The Celts believed that wellbeing came from harmony between ourselves and the natural world. At FORESTIS, that ancient idea has been reinterpreted through Wyda movement, forest botanicals, healing wood and stone, sound and rituals inspired by Celtic traditions.
Over four days, Alpine Stillness gives you time to experience that world more fully. Begin with Wyda, bringing movement, mindfulness and awareness together in nature, before going deeper through the Tree Circle Ceremony, where your own intuitive choice of tree helps shape the ritual that follows. Sound, medicinal plants, massage, warm salt water and quiet time in the spa offer different routes towards the same thing: slowing down enough for body and mind to settle back into balance.

Moving with Nature
Wyda
Wyda is the movement theory of the Celtic Druids, developed around the idea of bringing humankind and nature into greater harmony. Similar in some respects to yoga and Qi Gong, its mindful exercises combine movement and energy work. With the powerful natural surroundings of FORESTIS all around you, the mountains become part of the practice.
The Wisdom of the Trees
Tree Circle Ceremony (180 minutes)
FORESTIS' signature ceremony draws on the Celtic belief that harmony between our vital, emotional and mental levels is fundamental to wellbeing.
The experience begins by intuitively choosing between four alpine trees: spruce, larch, stone pine and mountain pine. Touch, appearance and, above all, scent guide the choice, reflecting your current constitution and the needs of the season. The selected healing wood is then used to release tension, followed by a corresponding healing stone that vibrates at the same sound frequency. Touch, scent, stone and sound come together in a ritual shaped around you.
Resonance of the Soul
Resonance of the Soul Ritual
Inspired by the spirituality and centuries-old wisdom of the Celtic Druids, this sensory ritual combines essences from medicinal plants such as mountain pine and spruce with the sounds and vibrations of crystal bells. Massage of the body's energy points supports the experience before a short, guided meditation brings the ritual to a quiet close.
Breath of the Mountains
The Air at an Altitude of 1,800 Metres
A regenerating ritual for body and mind inspired by Celtic traditions and FORESTIS' high-altitude setting. Salt bathing, massage and facial treatments come together in a deeply cleansing and relaxing experience, accompanied by stories exploring the physical and spiritual rituals of Celtic culture and their relationship with nature.
Warmth, Water, Space to Be
Between treatments, there is time to experience the FORESTIS spa at your own pace. Warmth, water, mountain views and the scents of seasonal herbs create a quieter counterpoint to the guided rituals, leaving plenty of space simply to rest.
The connection to the surrounding landscape begins in the smallest details. Seasonal blends of mountain herbs, organically grown by specialists at nearby Schmiedthof farm, are selected according to season and mood, continuing an old tradition of using wild herbs for their warming, harmonising and cleansing qualities.
Tailoring & Duration
We recommend allowing four nights for Alpine Stillness, giving enough space between the longer rituals to rest, spend time outdoors and enjoy the wider FORESTIS experience without the programme feeling overly scheduled.
The programme is fully tailorable, with the combination of rituals and treatments adapted to individual needs. Additional FORESTIS Touch therapies and massage treatments can also be added for guests who would like more dedicated bodywork.
