Overview

FORESTIS is perched high above Brixen, at 1,800 metres, where the sun lights up a peaceful plateau and the Dolomites stretch out before you. Three towers rise from the edge of the forest, beside a beautifully restored sanatorium, all designed to make the most of those endless views. Everything here invites you to reconnect with nature, from the forest-inspired well-being and mountain cuisine to the suites that face out towards the sky. It’s a place where you feel gently suspended between forest and horizon, letting the mountains work their quiet magic.

PLACE
A plateau above the valley

Getting to FORESTIS is part of the adventure—a winding mountain road leads you through forests and valleys, until you arrive at a peaceful ridge high above Brixen. There’s no traffic, no neighbouring chalets, just you and the quiet. In winter, snow softens every sound. In summer, meadows and pines fill the air with their scent. And all year round, the Dolomites stretch out, always in view.

RITUAL
Forest philosophy

The spa here is inspired by four simple elements: pure water, mountain air, gentle climate and hours of sunshine. The indoor-outdoor heated pool lines up with the horizon and is filled with mountain spring water, warmed to just the right temperature. You’ll find quiet saunas and steam baths scented with pine, and refreshing cold plunges to wake up your senses. Relax indoors or out on comfy loungers facing the glowing peaks.

TABLE
Alpine seasonality

Meals here are made with ingredients that thrive in the mountains. Herbs, berries and vegetables come from local farms, forests and pastures. Dishes are light, balanced and full of fresh flavour—just right for this altitude. The main restaurant has floor-to-ceiling mountain views, while the Yera cave restaurant is intimate and centred around the warmth of the fire.

Sleep
Rooms & Suites

Rooms in the historic building offer a direct view of the Dolomites. Tower suites have floor-to-ceiling glass, so you can always see the horizon. Pale wood, stone and linen keep things calm and natural, letting the landscape shine. At night, the stars feel close and the air is wonderfully clear.
