Overview

Set among open countryside near Alaior in southern Menorca, Torralbenc is a vineyard estate spread across more than 70 hectares of agricultural land. A cluster of restored whitewashed farm buildings now houses a small hotel, the result of a careful restoration that brought a former working estate back to life. Vineyards, dry-stone walls and wide horizons define the setting, with an estate winery and seasonal restaurant reflecting its agricultural roots. Calm and understated, it suits travellers drawn to space, simplicity and the slower pace of Menorca’s countryside.

    PLACE
    Vineyard horizons

Torralbenc sits within gently rolling countryside just inland from Menorca’s southern coast, spread across more than 70 hectares of agricultural land. Vineyard rows run through the estate, framed by dry-stone walls and native planting — wild olive trees, rosemary and low Mediterranean scrub. The restored farm buildings sit easily within the land, while the sea lies just a few kilometres away.

    FOOD
    Evenings among the vines
Dining at Torralbenc centres on slow cooking over embers, with a menu shaped by seasonal island produce and ingredients from the estate — vegetables, olive oil and wine. The approach is simple and grounded, with a clear link to Menorcan tradition. Meals unfold in the former harvest building or out on the terrace, where olive trees, vineyards and the distant line of the sea frame the setting.
    WELLNESS
    Garden quiet
Wellness here comes naturally. There’s a small treatment space set in a quieter corner of the estate, surrounded by native planting, where massages, facials and body treatments use Natura Bissé products. But most of the time, it’s simply being outside — the fresh air, the slower pace, time by the pool or walking through the land — that helps you switch off and reset.
    Sleep
    Rooms & Suites

Rooms and suites are set within former agricultural buildings, keeping the character of the original estate. Materials reflect the island — limestone, timber and natural fabrics — with rosemary, lavender and bougainvillea around the gardens and terraces. Each room opens onto the landscape, with a balcony, terrace or private garden. Interiors are light and simple, with views across vineyards, gardens or out towards the sea.
