Overview

In the agricultural heart of Mallorca near Montuïri, Finca Serena sits within forty hectares of vineyards, olive groves, lavender fields and open farmland — an estate where the island feels wide, cultivated and calm. The adults-only retreat has just twenty-five rooms, arranged across restored stone buildings and gardens. Former agricultural structures remain central, softened with light, linen and natural materials. At the heart of the property is Único Spa, a well-regarded wellness space that gives the stay a stronger restorative focus than most rural fincas on the island. It’s best suited to those looking to properly unwind — countryside quiet, estate-grown food and time to slow down.

    Land
    Central Mallorca

Finca Serena lies in the Pla de Mallorca, the island’s agricultural interior where vineyards, almond groves and open farmland stretch between small hilltop villages. Montuïri is one of the towns that define the region, known for its windmills and local markets. From the finca, you can explore this slower side of Mallorca while still being within easy reach of Palma and the airport.

    Spa
    Único Spa

Único Spa sits within a restored cowshed, now a calm, tactile wellness space. A heated pool is framed by wide windows looking out across the countryside, while a fireplace adds warmth in cooler months. A sauna and small fitness area complete the space. Treatments focus on restorative massage and beauty rituals using Natura Bissé and Comfort Zone products. Yoga is offered several mornings each week, in keeping with the pace of the estate.

    Table
    Farm-to-table

The estate’s restaurant, Jacaranda, draws on seasonal produce and traditional Mallorcan recipes. Menus change regularly with the seasons, with a focus on local, zero-kilometre sourcing wherever possible. In summer, the terraces become the natural centre of dining — century-old olive trees, long views across the estate and a pace that encourages lingering lunches and relaxed dinners.

    Design
    Restored estate

The bones of the original estate remain intact. Architect Sergi Batidas and interior designer Pilar Garcia-Nieto have preserved its character, opening up the traditional stone buildings with generous light, soft neutral tones and natural textures. Linen, wood and pale plaster sit easily alongside the older agricultural architecture. The result feels elegant without losing the simplicity of the finca.

    Sleep
    Rooms & Suites

Rooms and suites are spread across the estate’s different buildings, creating a sense of space and privacy. Many have terraces or large windows facing vineyards, gardens or open countryside, while some sit within the original farmhouse, with attic-style ceilings or separate living areas. Mornings arrive slowly, with birdsong and soft light across the fields.
