Overview

Set above the small coves of Cala Sant Vicenç on Mallorca’s northern coast, El Vicenç de la Mar is shaped by light, water and contemporary Mediterranean architecture. The hotel sits within a newly rebuilt structure overlooking the bay, where pale local stone, clean lines and wide terraces frame the surrounding seascape. With just over thirty rooms and an adults-only policy, the scale remains boutique despite its coastal setting. A rooftop pool and light-filled spa create space to slow down between time by the sea, while the turquoise coves and limestone cliffs give this stretch of coastline a naturally sheltered, intimate feel.

    Place
    Cala Sant Vicenç

Cala Sant Vicenç sits on Mallorca’s northern coastline, just west of Pollença. The shoreline is broken into four small coves — Cala Molins, Cala Clara, Cala Barques and Cala Carbó — each framed by limestone cliffs and clear, sheltered water. The village remains compact and low-rise, with a quieter feel than many coastal resorts. From the hotel’s terraces, the sea feels close, contained within the curve of the bay.

    Ritual
    Water, light & movement

The spa offers a compact thermal circuit — a heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room set within a light-filled space. Treatments focus on relaxation and balance, with massage and bodywork to ease the body after time in the sun or sea. Morning yoga is occasionally held on the terrace, with the surrounding light and sea views shaping the experience.

    Table
    Santi Taura’s coastal kitchen

El Vicenç de la Mar has two restaurants overseen by chef Santi Taura. U Mayol is a relaxed seafood bistro by day, built around fresh catch and seasonal produce from local growers. U Vicenç, on the upper floor, opens in the evening with an à la carte menu shaped by Taura’s approach — giving traditional Mallorcan flavours a precise contemporary twist.

    Sleep
    Rooms & Suites

Rooms are defined by clarity and light. Natural materials soften the contemporary architecture, while many open onto private terraces facing the sea. Light shifts gently across stone and glass through the day, keeping the atmosphere calm and open.
