Overview

On Carrer Reial in Sóller’s old town, Ecocirer is a small, homely bed and breakfast set within a restored early-20th-century townhouse that once served as the village’s silent cinema. Today it has just six rooms, a shaded courtyard and a kitchen that quietly shapes the day. The Serra de Tramuntana rises behind the rooftops, while citrus orchards scent the valley in season. Warm, informal and family-friendly, it feels closer to staying in a shared home than a hotel — best suited to those drawn to simple food, connection and the slower rhythm of village life.

    Place
    Sóller valley

Ecocirer sits within the grid of Sóller’s historic centre, a short walk from the main square yet far enough away to feel residential. Step outside and you’re immediately part of village life — bakeries, cafés and small shops. The town lies at the heart of Mallorca’s citrus valley, surrounded by orange and lemon groves and enclosed by the steep ridges of the Serra de Tramuntana. The vintage wooden tram still runs slowly to Port de Sóller, linking town and sea as it has for more than a century.

    Rhythm
    Kitchen-table mornings

Breakfast anchors the day, served at a shared table in the living space or courtyard, where it unfolds slowly and without ceremony. Bread is baked in-house, fruit and vegetables come from the garden, and everything is prepared for the guests staying, so it feels thoughtful and personal. Conversations happen easily but never feel forced. From there, the day stays open — hiking into the mountains, cycling through citrus groves, or simply lingering in town, with the house quietly setting the pace.

    Table
    Plant-forward simplicity

The kitchen follows a clear philosophy: vegetarian at its core, largely plant-based, seasonal and free from refined sugar. Dishes feel generous and full of colour, rooted in what grows locally and prepared with care. It’s simple, nourishing food that fits naturally with the rhythm of the house.

    Farm
    A taste of the countryside

Ecocirer’s 17th-century farmhouse adds a rural dimension to the stay. Set among olive groves, citrus orchards and mountain views, it’s a place to spend time around food and the land — picking seasonal produce, learning about olive oil and cooking simple meals together using ingredients from the garden. For children, time with the animals, foraging, picnics and a full day outdoors become part of the experience.

    Movement
    Cycling the valley

Sóller sits at the centre of some of Mallorca’s most rewarding cycling routes, from gentle valley rides through citrus groves to longer climbs into the Serra de Tramuntana. Bikes can be stored and maintained on site, making it easy to head out early and return at your own pace. It’s less about performance and more about moving through the landscape — stopping when you want, taking in the views, and letting the day unfold.

    Sleep
    Rooms

Rooms are individually styled with reclaimed wood, natural fabrics and soft, filtered light. Nothing feels overly designed. Windows open to tiled rooftops or the shaded courtyard below. The thickness of the townhouse walls keeps nights properly quiet, while mornings arrive gradually with the light from the mountains.
