Overview

In the historic centre of Pollença, behind a discreet 17th-century townhouse façade, Can Aulí opens onto a central courtyard of warm stone and Mediterranean light. Thick walls, timber beams and limewashed surfaces keep interiors naturally cool, even in high summer. With just over twenty rooms and an adults-only policy, the atmosphere is quietly grown-up. The courtyard sits at the centre — where breakfast lingers, the pool is set within stone walls, and days follow the pace of village life.

    Place
    Within the village walls

Can Aulí sits within Pollença’s old town, a network of narrow stone lanes and small squares beneath the Serra de Tramuntana. A short walk away, the Calvari steps climb above the rooftops, opening wide views across the valley. Life moves at a steady village pace — coffee in the square, galleries and small shops, and the weekly market. The beaches of Port de Pollença and Cala Sant Vicenç are a short drive away.

    Ritual
    Water beneath stone

The spa sits below the courtyard, with an indoor heated pool, sauna and treatment rooms forming an intimate thermal space. Treatments focus on massage, facials and relaxation, using organic products. Private yoga and Pilates sessions can be arranged. Lighting is low, the space is quiet, and the contrast with the courtyard above is part of the experience.

    Table
    Courtyard dining

Tables sit beneath open sky while the stone walls hold the warmth into the evening. Menus draw on seasonal Mallorcan produce — vegetables, olive oil, seafood and local wines — prepared in a light Mediterranean style. Breakfast is relaxed and generous, while dinner feels more intimate, shaped by the setting as much as the food.

    Sleep
    Rooms

Rooms reflect the building’s original character — stone, timber and natural materials paired with soft, neutral tones. Many open onto terraces or balconies overlooking the courtyard or rooftops. Bathrooms are spacious and modern, often with freestanding tubs or rainfall showers. Interiors are simple and calm, making it easy to rest after time in the sun.
