Overview

Overlooking the wide bay of Cala Galdana, ARTIEM Audax is an adults-only beachfront hotel set up for both movement and rest. Positioned directly beside the Camí de Cavalls — Menorca’s 185km coastal trail — it works as a natural base for hiking, sea swimming and exploring the island’s quieter coves. The bay below offers easy access to kayaking and paddleboarding, while the hotel itself brings in structured wellness, from rooftop yoga sessions and personal fitness training to a substantial spa for recovery. Children aged 16 and over are welcome, though the atmosphere remains calm and adult-focused.

    PLACE
    Turquoise bay

Cala Galdana is one of Menorca’s most recognisable landscapes — a wide turquoise bay framed by limestone cliffs and pine-covered slopes. The water is calm and clear, ideal for swimming, with easy access to kayaking and paddleboarding. From here, the coastline opens out in both directions, leading to smaller, quieter coves.

    WELLNESS
    Recovery after distance

There’s a well-equipped gym and a full schedule of movement classes, including yoga, Pilates and fitness sessions. When it’s time to slow down, the spa offers a thermal circuit with a hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room. Massages focus on easing tired muscles after long days on the trail or in the water.

    TABLE
    Fuel for the day

Breakfast sets the tone early — fresh fruit, juices and eggs cooked to order, alongside lighter options before heading out. Later, Oliva Restaurant follows a Mediterranean approach shaped by seasonal produce, island seafood and local ingredients such as Mahón cheese. By evening, the rooftop restaurant, The View becomes a natural place to gather, with small plates and sunset over Cala Galdana closing the day.

    Sleep
    Rooms & Suites

Rooms and suites face either the bay or hillside, many with terraces that catch the early morning light. Interiors are contemporary, light and fresh, with a simple, functional feel. Higher-category rooms offering sea views.
