Overview
Perched on the southern tip of the Mani Peninsula, close to Cape Tainaron where the ancient Greeks believed the entrance to the underworld lay, Tainaron Blue occupies one of Europe's most extraordinary landscapes. The restored 19th-century tower stands between mountain and sea, where wind, stone and open horizon shape the rhythm of each day. With just three suites, the experience feels deeply personal, inviting guests to immerse themselves in a place where nature remains firmly in charge. Here, wellbeing isn't something added to the landscape. It grows naturally from it.

    PLACE
    At the edge of Greece

At the edge of Greece The Mani Peninsula has always felt slightly apart from the rest of Greece, shaped by rugged mountains, dramatic coastline and centuries of fiercely independent history. Just beyond the retreat lies Cape Tainaron, the mythical gateway to Hades in ancient Greek legend, where walking trails lead to the southernmost point of mainland Europe.

    WELLNESS
    Shaped by the landscape

Shaped by the landscape The landscape quietly sets the pace. Mornings might begin with yoga overlooking the sea, followed by a swim in a secluded cove, a holistic treatment or a walk along the coast. Each day unfolds naturally, moving, resting and reconnecting in a place where nature gently takes the lead.

    NIGHT
    Beneath the stars

As daylight fades, another side of Tainaron Blue begins to reveal itself. Far from towns and artificial light, the night sky is remarkably clear, with the retreat's observatory and professional telescope offering an unforgettable opportunity to explore the constellations. Looking up becomes as much a part of the experience as looking out across the sea.

    Sleep
    Rooms & Suites

The three suites preserve the character of the original Mani tower through exposed stone walls, handcrafted details and uninterrupted sea views. Thoughtfully understated and deeply peaceful, they allow the landscape to remain the defining feature of every stay.
