Dexamenes sits directly on the coastline, preserving the industrial heritage of this naturally beautiful part of the Peloponnese. Former wine tanks have been reimagined as minimalist suites, while courtyards, reflective pools and preserved concrete structures lend the property its distinctive character. Dexamenes creates something that feels both remarkably contemporary and deeply rooted in a story of the past.
Art, wine and local culture are woven through life at Dexamenes. Throughout the season, the hotel hosts exhibitions, artist residencies, performances and cultural gatherings that transform the former wine factory into something more than a place to stay. Guests can join creative workshops, discover local makers or simply encounter art in unexpected places, adding another layer of depth to the experience.
Contemporary Greek simplicity The food reflects the same philosophy as the architecture: thoughtful, seasonal and stripped back to what matters most. Menus celebrate ingredients from the surrounding region, with fresh seafood, locally grown produce and modern interpretations of traditional Greek dishes creating a strong connection to the landscape and culture of the western Peloponnese.
Converted tank suites combine exposed concrete, softened natural textures and uninterrupted sea views to create spaces that feel strikingly simple yet deeply restful. The design is minimalist without feeling cold, allowing light, sound and the changing moods of the coastline to become part of the experience.
Dexamenes Seaside Hotel is located near Kourouta Beach in the western Peloponnese, approximately 50 minutes by car from Araxos Airport and around 3.5 hours from Athens.

Dexamenes is a thoughtful adaptive reuse project, transforming a former wine factory into a contemporary hotel while preserving the site's architectural heritage and minimising the need for new construction.
Your stay is booked with Wellness Traveller. Cancellation and amendment terms vary depending on the room, rate and dates you choose. The terms that apply will be provided before you confirm your booking and detailed on your booking confirmation.
For refundable bookings, Wellness Traveller requires an additional 24 hours' notice before the hotel’s cancellation deadlines, allowing us time to process the cancellation on your behalf.
If your plans change, please email hello@wellnesstraveller.co, quoting your booking reference. Your cancellation will take effect from the date we receive your written request.
A £25 administration fee per booking applies where you ask us to make a change or cancellation, in addition to any cancellation charges that apply to your booking. This fee does not apply where you have a statutory right to cancel without charge.
