Start your journey
Beginning
Learning to notice

Your first encounter with Milos is Sarakiniko. Sculpted by volcanic eruptions and centuries of wind and sea, its sweeping white landscape seems to belong on another planet. Waiting to meet you is a local nature photographer who has spent years exploring this remarkable coastline. Together, you'll wander across its smooth white curves and volcanic textures. The longer you look, the more there is to notice.

Wander
A living, breathing island

At Paliochori, cliffs streaked with reds, golds and sulphur yellows meet a shoreline where warm springs still bubble beneath the sea. Later, you'll wander the dramatic headland of Cape Vani, discovering abandoned mines, volcanic rock formations and sweeping views across the Aegean. The day ends in the fishing village of Klima, where brightly painted syrmata line the waterfront and fishing boats still return with the evening catch.

Explore
The shore from the sea

Spend a day on the water with a skipper who has spent a lifetime exploring these shores. Volcanic cliffs give way to hidden coves, sea caves shimmer beneath the surface and tiny beaches appear between sculpted rock formations, reached only by boat. Every turn of the coastline reveals another reason to keep exploring.

Discover
Into the deep

At Papafragas and Kleftiko, the boat slips through narrow sea passages carved by centuries of waves. Explore hidden sea caves where sunlight dances beneath the surface, swim beneath soaring natural arches and hear stories of pirates who used these natural hideaways. These are the places your skipper has been returning to for years, knowing exactly when the light is at its best and when the sea is calm enough to enter.

Gather
Desert island dining

On your final day, you'll drop anchor beside a secluded beach that can only be reached from the water. While you swim, snorkel or wander barefoot along the shoreline, lunch is prepared in the shade. Fresh seafood, seasonal salads, warm bread, local cheeses and chilled wine are shared just a few metres from the sea. There are no crowds, no restaurants and nowhere else to be.

Reflect
A world of wonder

Milos gently encourages you to slow down, look a little closer and keep exploring. You leave with memories of hidden coves, volcanic cliffs and endless blue water, but perhaps something else as well: the reminder that curiosity has a wonderful way of returning when we give it time and space.
